Our Teachers

"Everyone has a right to do yoga. Everyone… women, men, young, old and very old, the sick, the weak, the strong, boys, girls, et cetera, all are entitled to yogabhyasa with no restrictions…"
- Krishnamacharya

Our Teaching Philosophy

At Enhanced Healing Yoga we strive to honor the words of Krishnamacharya, the founder of modern yoga, with a welcoming studio that offers the beauty of the Yoga Tradition to everyone.

We offer a variety of classes and workshops anchored in the living lineage of Sri Vidya Tantrism.  This means that all our classes, whether posture-based, meditative, or other modality, are informed by techniques that have been developed within an unbroken tradition going back thousands of years. These practices comprise a science of personal empowerment and self control that can benefit everyone.

We also strive to create an environment in which you can recognize and be affirmed as yourself. In contrast to narrow commercial representations of people who practice yoga, our classes are led by teachers who reflect the diversity and openness of contemporary yoga.  You will always be a welcomed guest at Enhanced Healing Yoga.
